Monitoring is done without touching the baby. The sensors are connected to a small battery operated control unit clipped to the side of baby's bed so there is no electromagnetic radiation. There is also no connection to any high voltage electrical outlet.

Your baby's breathing motions trigger a green flashing light. If baby stops breathing for more than twenty seconds or if the breathing rate drops below 10 breaths per minute, a loud alarm is sounded.
